Our grow room
This page is the whole argument.
Anyone can list a rare plant. Almost nobody can show you where it grew. This is our setup — the same one every plant on this site came out of.
A 4×4 grow tent under full-spectrum LED, with inline ventilation and controlled humidity. Aroids get the stable, moving, humid air they'd have in the understory.
A still-air workstation for tissue culture. It's how we'll make rare species affordable without importing wild-collected plants.
Every cutting we sell comes off a plant we've kept for at least a year. They aren't for sale — they're the source.
Why it matters
Imported plants hide their damage for about three weeks.
A plant that has crossed a border arrives root-washed, dehydrated and running on stored energy. It looks fine on the shelf and starts failing after the seller's return window closes. A plant that was propagated where it's sold has no such debt — what you see is its actual condition.
What we won't do
- Sell wild-collected plants.
- Sell mystery boxes or unrooted cuttings dressed up as plants.
- List a plant we've had for less than a month.
- Photograph a plant in light that flatters variegation it doesn't have.
