We grow a few plants and write down what goes wrong.
One shelf in one apartment, photographed every two weeks. The journal reports what each plant actually did — including the repot that put the Pink Princess into a decline it still hasn't come out of, and the weeks since, where the only right move has been to leave it alone.

Week 5 — Nothing to Do but Wait
Week 3 blamed the repot for what was happening to the Pink Princess. That still looks right, and the plant is a lot worse. The difficult part of this entry is that the correct response to it is to do nothing at all.

A grow journal that only reports successes is an ad.
Most plant content shows you the finished plant. It leaves out the month it sulked, the decision that caused it, and the stretch where the grower didn't know what was wrong. Those are the parts worth reading, so those are the parts that go in — the wrong guesses included.
